Charcuterie Board
Every once in a while, I love to throw together a board of Tim's and my favorite meats, cheeses, nuts, veggies, fruit and just enjoy munching on it. The other day, I simply did not want to make a full dinner but we had lots of snacks and produce that we needed to use up. We put on my favorite Italian opera and just lounged and enjoyed eating together. These moments during Tim's busiest season are the moments that I will remember for years to come and hopefully forever.
When we do these crudités, charcuterie spreads or just eat a Mediterranean antipasti, it really brings us back to our travels. Sometimes we would go to the local deli or market and just grab some of the cheeses, salumis and veggies that the owner says are the best and of course a baguette with butter. We like to pretend that we are in the South of France or Italy and that we don't have a care in the world. Its fun, you should try it! I will post my Italian playlist as well, because it has all the my favorites and maybe this will give you a peek inside my kitchen rituals. I just love it so much.
On this board I used:
- Trimmed and Peeled Rainbow Carrots
- Prosciutto
- Goat Milk Gouda Cheese (THE best and from TJ's)
- Rosemary Marcona Almonds (Also TJ's)
- Triple Cream Whole Milk Brie (Imported from France)
- Olympia Provisions Salami
- Pitted Manzanilla Olives
- Italian Dry Salami
- Water Crackers (Duh. For the brie)
- Candied Pecans
Also here is my Italian playlist. It is a mix of old and new Italian feels. XOXO
