Hello!

Welcome to my website... I hope you enjoy reading about the meals I create, life on a boat, my personal style + travels with my husband!

Christmas Brunch

Christmas Brunch

On Mondays I have the day off of work.  It is possibly my favorite day of the work week because I usually can get errands done or just spend time with girl friends.  I feel like everyone else hates Mondays, but I think they are THE BEST!  Through our involvement in church, Tim and I have truly made some of our sweetest friends in a matter of months!  It has been such a fun few months.  On a normal monday, you can find me buying the week's groceries, cleaning the boat or walking with girls from church, but last monday my friend Vanessa and I decided to put on a brunch at her house and watch Christmas movies.  It was so delicious and such a blast.  A few of the moms in the crew brought their cute kiddies and we ate, chatted and watched my personal Christmas FAVE: White Christmas.  It is an oldie and a goodie.  I love all the dancing in it, I think because I used to be a dancer myself for 12 years.  Definitely add it to your movie list... and it is on Netflix right now!

We put on a really yummy spread and actually did not even make any of it! Also... sorry my pictures are very lacking of excitement.  Hope you still read it even if you can figure out what we made by just looking at the photo....

Here was what we ate:

Blueberry + Poppyseed Muffins from PCC (a local market nearby with really fresh, organic and locally made products)

Butternut Squash Quiche from PCC (I will have to share my quiche recipe soon but this one was JUST as good!!)

Turkey Bacon + Peppered Turkey Bacon from Trader Joe's (The peppered one was a real hit!)

Fresh Organic Berries + Pomegranate seeds (Dress up your berry salad with edible flowers, mint or around the holidays, those beautifully glistening pom seeds!)

Orange Juice + Seltzer Water from Trader Joe's

This would be a really pretty spread for Christmas morning too!  It is also super easy because it was all from the store.  Everyone was so full and happy and basically raving and we hardly out any work into the prep....

Happy Holidays everyone!
