Spring Florals
Inspired by Spring flowers right now as the rain finally started trickling back around here. The grey and dreary light coming into our apartment windows are making me crave spring time, florals, farmers market runs, and of course, some sunshine on my skin. Seattle rains a lot, like 1/2 the year and I complain in my head (maybe out loud?) about this fact a lot. I come from the land of sun and all day 80 degree weather but to be honest, I got to give it to Seattle rain patterns because the insurmountable foliage and floral array growing literally everywhere is pretty unmatched. I cannot wait for those blooms to start sneaking back in around here after it stops snowing and drizzling.
Some of the places I love to find my blooms are at Pike's Place Market, the Ballard farmers market, or just my local Trader Joe's (because you kind of can't beat the price and selection there). It is also really fun to look around and learn about the different types of flowers from simply walking around our neighborhood!
