Goldenrod

With the changing of leaves this year, I have been so inspired by the jewel tone colors I am seeing not only in nature, but also in fashion. I always try to purchase pieces that I can wear around the house, running errands or at work, and also that I can see myself owning for years to come. I absolutely love styling outfits, but it can definitely be tempting to covet things I do not have, instead I really try to be grateful for all that I DO have and try and use those pieces as many times I can in as many ways I can. Two Autumnal items of clothing I bought recently I have literally been wearing on repeat are these vintage style straight jeans and this Goldenrod sweater.

Jeans and pants in general are always hard for me to find because of my shape. I always struggle with the fact that my legs and bum are fuller and my waist is small. So either my pants are too tight on my legs and fit my waist and hips or the legs of the jeans fit well but I have tons of room in the waist! I recently found the perfect pair of denim from Madewell! Madewell has been a go- to for jeans for me the last couple of years, I don’t know how they do it!

Another lovely piece I have been loving is this comfy sweater from Anthropologie. It is so soft, it has the perfect bell sleeve and a beautiful design on the back which makes me think of Tangled or makes me feel like the sun is on my back. Something about wearing sunny clothes that give you a sunny disposition!
