The Perfect Tool for Small Kitchens

The Perfect Tool for Small Kitchens

If you live in a small space, or if you ever have, than you know how important it is to keep things as minimal as possible, while still being practical.  If you are anything like me, you like to decorate your kitchen to make it feel homey, but you still want to expose most of your counter space, so that you have a place to prep meals and things don't feel cluttered!

We do not have a dishwasher, so we wash all of our dishes by hand, which is a lovely and therapeutic process.  However, when you cook as often as I do, it always feels like there is a wet towel at the side of the sink and dishes lying helplessly on top of it.  I am very aware of the reality of a dish racks, but those too have always seemed bulky, cheap and they get really dirty rather quickly.  A few months ago, I discovered this compact dish rack that separates from itself from Food52.  I genuinely thought it was the cutest of the dish racks I have seen so after thinking about it, a couple weeks ago I ordered one!  We got it in the mail last week and have been using it and so far, we love it!  I actually thought it might not fit our larger dishes, but it still fits them and so it is not only cute, it is super functional!

It is definitely a smarter solution because it takes up far less room than standard dish racks, it is very easy to clean and I love the color.  It also comes in a cute teal color...

I think that it is worth the money if you are working with a small space!  Also, there is nothing like a new kitchen accessory to motivate you to do the dishes!

XOXO
